It looks like the window interior is plastic so possible cause for concern that it's touching the boiling water
"with auto shut-off".... Wow!

All electric kettles are with auto shuf off. That's not a feature per say
Yes, because there is less loss of energy to the surrounding since the heating element is enclosed.

Although not as fast as you'd get in most other countries due to the lower voltage we use. So, don't take Europeans' word on social media without caveats : )

Bought one of these over 5 years ago. Still using it today. Dropping the kettle or something heavy on the kettle could dent it.

I don't know why but I relate to this so much. I have a nice dent on my lid too. I wonder if it's a normal occurrence lol. even with the dent it works perfectly.

Haha my dent is also on the lid. Even though this kettle been so reliable, i'm debating upgrading to a gooseneck that can heat to a specific temp.

I have a cheap one that does not auto shut off. I would not recommend it.

What do u mean it does not auto shut off? What happens when it reaches boiling point? I dont think it is even allowed by regulators to make an electric kettle without auto shut off. They all shut off within seconds of reaching boiling point

Yes it is. This is the order from slow to fast

Kettle on stove - Slowest
110v Electric Kettle - Middle
220v Electric Kettle - Fastest
