Great for ML or other VRAM heavy tasks, normally go for $700 used on ebay, so if you want to avoid ebay this is probably your best bet.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition Dual Fan 24GB GDDR6X PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card (Refurbished) is also available for $799.99:

The 3090 draws 50W less power though and has the same VRAM for very minimal performance improvement. If you're looking for gaming performance, go with a new 4070 TI, I wouldn't consider the 3090 TI.

3090 has MUCH worse cooling than the 3090ti. Since it has all the vram in one side not been properly cool. This was fixed with the 3090ti, runs much cooler. Had the 3090 and was the reason i switch to the Ti

That's a good point, didn't really consider that. Do you think that's worth the $100 extra, or just stick a bunch more fans into a more open case to make up the difference?

I think it's worth the extra money, just for the peace of mind knowing your VRAM won't fry itself.

I would get the 4070ti as well. Supports the newer stuff like frame generation.
