My subscription recently expired, and I was looking for a deal. They're usually around but this is the best current deal I could find on any site.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Co...bo.4568580

15 Months Microsoft 365 Family (I actually got one extra month from Microsoft, but I can't guarantee that for everyone)

1 Year McAfee Safe Connect Secure VPN 2024 - Premium

Did it today and MSFT says my subscription ends on Sept 08, 2025
EDIT: That seems to include 1 month bonus on top of the 15 months for setting up auto-renew (which you can cancel later and is done as a matter of course in the transaction anyway).

Side Note: Would be willing to trade the McAfee if anyone needs this. I have a VPN already.

If bought today, wouldn't 15 months be ending on 8/8/25? 12 months end 5/8/25. 3 more months should be ending 8/8/25 not 9/8/25.

Welp, my parents' needed a new O365/M365 deal *today* so this worked well for me/them.

Thanks OP.

(doubtful that McAfee thing will ever be even thought of again...)

Calendar event set for Aug 2025 to start looking for a better deal than the auto-renew.

Pretty sure they give you an "extra" month for setting up auto-renew.

This ended up being correct. 16 months total is what I got. I wasn't sure what prompted the extra month so I didn't add it to title.

I couldn't find a way other than Newegg GC on a discount, but too much work and my sub had just expired.

Does Newegg just send you activation numbers? I once did the Amazon deal where they took over the account. Does Newegg work the same way?

In my experience Newegg sends you the code which you can redeem with MS. You retain control of the account.

Certain Chase CCs (e.g., Freedom) currently offer 5% cash back from Newegg. On top of that you can stack 1% cb from popular sites.

If the item title says "auto-renewal" then your subscription ends up getting managed by Newegg, same as how the Amazon deals have changed. If the title says "PC/Mac Download" then it's a key.

"Microsoft 365 Personal | 15-Month Subscription, 1 person | Premium Office apps | 1TB OneDrive cloud storage | PC/Mac Download"

https://www.newegg.com/microsoft-...6832350502

The above is a key that you'd visit setup.office.com to add to your account. OP's deal moves the billing of your subscription to Newegg.

If you end up with one of these that are managed by a third party such as Newegg or Amazon, you can't add keys during that time to extend your subscription, but once it ends and you have auto-renewal turned off at the retailer side it will simply expire then you can add keys again, you won't lose any data/etc.

I've started buying keys from a shady looking outfit called gamers-outlet, 100% looks like you're going to get scammed, and the keys are only 6 months but they're $38 or so, and they work. You have to buy the international key and it works in the US.

This is what I've used in the past (when on sale) - has both phrases in the product title lol, but it is a key and you retain control of the account

The "PC/Mac download" phrase refers to the OS compatibility for the applications provided with the subscription, it has nothing to do with the licensing renewal model of the key provided.

Is the 1 TB OneDrive Cloud Storage per account or total 1 TB for all 6 accounts ? Costco has it for 1 TB each for 6 accounts but costly.
