They have the exact opposite effect on me

Best way to say it is they are a slim fit but have a ton of stretch. It really depends on your build. I'm muscular upper body with a little extra in the stomach, I can really wear either large or XL and have both. The large looks good up top but could look a little tight in the stomach depending on the day, XL fits a little looser and more casual but still really good up top but I dislike that they are a little too long. So it really depends on what fit you like.

I hate plastic clothes. But it's hard to find decent cotton clothes, or bamboo. Wearing polyester in the summer is the worst.

Just be careful as an undershirt, they will push any sweat out and into your outer shirt vs cotton will kinda hold the sweat and disperse it more evenly and less likely to show on outer shirts
