Why new S23 FE from BestBuy is Verizon compatible but not Xfinity?
I checked on both Verizon and Xfinity web site.

It seems like Xfinity has something in their system that blocks phones that aren't explicitly stated as working with them. Even though Xfinity gets their service from Verizon. They probably have a custom boot loader on their phones and if their system doesn't see that custom code, doesn't allow it. Which is why even unlocked phones don't work with Xfinity and they force you to buy one of theirs... which are usually a complete rip-off (worse specs for higher price). Their reps can't even explain it when you point out the specific cell frequencies a phone supports vs what they use.

So basically, assume if it doesn't say it's Xfinity compatible, it's not.
