I got these last April for the same price. I have done ribs, brisket, chicken, and other things with them (Pit Boss smoker). I have been happy with the flavor. There are better deals that pop up for pellets but most are YMMV in store pick up. For $10 shipped I'm get them again.

Not bad, thanks. I see that HD also has several other brands of pellets for $11-$13 a 20-pound bag, also with free shipping. Lots of choices for cheaper than Kingsford, Traeger, and others in store. I put several in my cart before deciding that i probably have too many pellets already. Getting these and a bag of Bear Mountain Savory Craft Blend that are $11 and have some hickory on the mix, which I like for certain things.

Picked up 3 bags.. 2 of these, and one apple (11.99). Don't need to drive to the store, lug them out to the truck, etc. They will be delivered to my door by this weekend. Thanks for the deal!!

I've seen some pipes that hold the pellets that you light and release the smoke. Haven't bought one or tried it but looks like it could work. Some are made for gas grills. So I would assume you can. that's what I'm looking at doing.

I sometimes use a smoke tube, which I fill with either pellets, chips, or a combination. When I use the pellets it creates a lot of smoke but imparts basically no smoke flavor at all. When I use just chips it burns the whole tube in maybe 20 minutes. Mixing them about 50/50 gives it a good mix.

So yeah, it'll probably work but won't do much.

Same price (roughly) as the Costo blend but no need to haul it home myself? And in 20 lb bags instead of the 40 lb. Easier to manage. Ordered 3. Thanks op.

I haven't used this particular brand but I've used other brands in my Woodfire and they all work fine👍🏻

Is it? I thought Costco was 40 lb for $12.99, at least in store.
