Looking to upgrade Arris 6190 because of issues?

I have had Arris 6190 for a while now - 2020?

I have intermittent internet - Xfinity truck checked my node and said there are issues but no one in my complex have issues. He said I might want to get a Docsis 3.1 modem.

Could you recommend a product that is Docsis 3.1 ?

Amz has Arris CM8200A DOCSIS 3.1 Ultra Fast Cable Modem 32X8 Gigabit for $70 refurb - is this a good one? Used modem might be attached to another account and Xfinity could not resolve it.

Sure thing! When it comes to DOCSIS 3.1 modems, consider going for new ones to avoid potential compatibility or ownership issues. Look into options like the NETGEAR Nighthawk CM1200 or the Motorola MB8600. These should offer reliability and performance without the headaches of buying refurbished.

Thank you but if refurb modem does not work, complain to FCC. They will do magic.
