This is the first ever sale on the Nakamichi Dragon 11.4.6. Hoping it finds all my other fellow audiophiles out there. Not sure how long it'll last but it's $422 off. After the sale ends, they're going to increase the regular price to $3,999.99. I'll try my luck again on Black Friday, but for those of you that want it for this deal it's worth the money.

thanks for sharing. nice discount!

i read a lot of reviews when this was announced last year... can't really find anything short of amazing, except a lot of damage on delivery.

I remember back in the 80's the Nakamichi Dragon was a high-end cassette tape deck. Besides the price tag, wasn't overly impressed with that back then and not sure what makes this so special.

The original Japanese Nakamichi company is long gone. A Chinese company owns the brand for awhile now.

Not sure about this sound bar but the owners of the brand had some lower end sound bars probably made by a cheap Chinese ODM and then slapped the Nakamichi brand on it to help sell them. Did the same with some android auto devices too.

The positive comments here seem real fake...

Expensive Nakamichi sound bars taught me that all soundbars suck. Returned and went with a less expensive receiver with elac speakers and a HSU brand sub.. it blows the everloving sheet out of a premium sound bar like this.
My biggest complaint on the Nakamichi that I notice with all sound bars is that they are harsh. They wear on my ears and start to hurt far far quicker and at lower volumes than my new setup. Maybe it is distortion?? Or whatever tricks they use to make tiny drivers sound like a 6" woofer.

;Fellow Audiophile?
Interesting, for most that I know, myself included would never in a million years use a sound bar setup, especially one like this where the entire ecosystem is tied to a single point of failure.

I was about to ask who owned them now. This is like Kodak nowdays. It is a name only. These might be decent, but I feel like you can get a solid Sonos or Sennheiser soundbar setup for less.

I don't know. I used to have a pretty solid two channel setup (Revel's) and switched to Sonos. I still think Sonos is pretty solid if you wan simplicity. Not as good, but still sounds great.
