This is why I would always buy a new oled with full warranty.

Deal is live again. Have one already and it's amazing. Rolling the dice here on another. Hopefully chase purchase protection at least provides a bit more safety

Received one last week and open the box (no manual no original box or anything but the monitor seems working fine, some minor scratches on the holding pole but that is tolerable.

Same got mine - no original box, no manuals. Don't see any visual defects. Panel's working great.

I ended up returning mine. Nothing wrong with it, zero scratches or defects, but I could not get Dolby Atmos to work. Yes, I am very familiar with the settings and what needs to be enabled, configured, etc. It would only output PCM Stereo. I suspect it was because I used DP for the video and HDMI for audio (eARC). I was surprised that it worked at all, but only in stereo.
It was also difficult to go down in screen size from a 42" LG C2 to this. The colors seemed oversaturated out of the box, and very dim comparatively. I also didn't like the curve or the oversized stand.
It is the best monitor I have ever had, quality and picture wise, just not a good fit for me. The LG 42" OLED's should not be overlooked, unless it's too big for your setup. They are typically less expensive and everything just works, including Dolby Atmos, which I need. The biggest difference is 120 Hz vs. 240 Hz., but I am not an esports gamer, so could care less.

Received one that had on large scratch on the left side of the screen. Did an advanced replacement and received another with an even bigger scratch. I guess it's a pure gamble for what you get.

Ended up keeping it though as I asked for a 10% discount. The scratch isn't noticeable anyway when in use. I use two of these side by side and overall they're fantastic.

Ended up returning mine! 1cm black dead spot in the upper left corner. Decided to not try to play the replacement game this time around!
