Yes I get the same message. I said screw it and went to the store to see if there was one in stock. I found one in the clearance endcap and it rang up for $30!
Called me the next morning. Said he didn't know why a manager didn't at least look at it the day before. Told me to come in and they would honor the price and sold me 2 of them at $30. I was there after he was off and they had to call up a different manager who insisted it was a different product, but marked it down because it was the manager that I called decision. Not sure how she thought it was a different vacuum? SKU is right on the box.

shelf said $119 each... tried self checkout rang up $119... went to pro desk as suggested... rang up $119 there... I mentioned they are a discontinued item, guy did see no longer listed on their own website, even went to this post here on slickdeals... but said he couldn't help.
yesterday brickseek showed 6 in stock at this store for $119.... and OOS at the other home depot but for $30.03.... today brickseek shows 0 at both and shows no price now at the other store.
maybe possible I return this at the other hd were it had showed $30.03 on BS and then buy them right back?

If you do a buy / return at another store, there is a high chance they will not put it back on the shelf and will RTV (return to vendor) or whoever they send clearance and special order tagged inventory to. It'll all depend on what that stores inventory software instructs the customer service rep to do.

It goes to Indiana and get sold on eBay by selller called "toolsdirect." I looked up the address from one of the items I got and the building online was labeled Home Depot returns. Plus, all of the items have the orange Home Depot return sticker on the box.
Here it is. $45 after extra 30%, but run the risk of it having issues. The HD deal is def better.

Seems like they liquidate HD returns, so you often receive genuinely broken and/or return frauded merchandise (missing parts, rocks, swapped batteries). Hopefully I don't get too many Not-As-Described Items, return them, and get banned.
