It's going in and out of stock so you may want to try again. I waited about 5 minutes and it was back.

I know my comment is irrelevant to the deal here, but I need to say it: the array of sizes and naming euphemisms for M&Ms has gotten absurd. "Sharing size." About 9 different size bags for each variety of M&Ms, and the varieties having distinct sizing.

I am sure this makes economic sense to the M&Ms people; they're maximizing their return, and it's all part of inflation / shrinkflation. But I can't be the only one who's walked down the candy aisle at a CVS, etc., been tempted by those several shelves of M&Ms, but then decided against because I didn't have the time or patience to decide between the 58 different variety/size options. And just walked away without buying anything.

Sometimes simplification is the better marketing and sales strategy.

These are the best ones crazy that they're basically giving them away. They're on clearance at Walgreens too. Unfortunately, I'm lactose intolerant so I don't eat them anymore...but I thought about it.

most major chains now a days have a per ounce/pound or gram sign
so i pretty much ignore all portion nonsense and focus on that quotient.

my SD rule of thumb with any chocolate sale;
if it's over 20ยข an ounce, i don't even look at it,
because i can always buy chips for less.

Bought more too but order says won't deliver till end of month & weather likely to be hotter by then. Ordering chocolate is always questionable end of May so hopefully it's packed right.
My last order had a vague delivery date (range of dates) out a couple of weeks, but it was updated and delivered within a few days.

Delivery is out to July now -- just in time for blazing temps and melted candy.

Agreed on all of this, but still... (1) some retailers don't include the weight cost on their sale prices (though it's usually not hard to do the math or check it on your phone), and (2) inevitably, the biggest bag usually is the most cost efficient, which 9x out of 10 leads to me concluding to myself: "eh, I really dont want to spend $17 on candy, and I don't want to overpay on a regular size bag, so I'll pass and maybe bite when I see the big bag on sale, or get enticed by a Slickdeal."
