Price wise people need to stop paying this much, it's the only way it will drive prices down

Seems inconclusive at best...
I'm not gonna tell you how to live your life. If you don't think it is worth the risk then more power to you! But if you are asking for my thoughts (which you invited with your question) I think there are higher risks in life than having a zero sugar can of soda every day. Too much of literally anything in life is bad. Just don't overdue it.
