Probably because the title cuts off before one can see that the PSU is included. I immediately downvoted it thinking it was just the case. Changed my vote after reading your comment.

Dammit. Where was this when I was looking for a case and an 850W PSU.

I ended up getting a case that was way too small and had to move the front fans to the outside top of the case just to fit the video card. Cant mount the side panel either.

This is a pretty good deal for a nice case. My other build is with the 5000D, which is a monster. Assuming the 4000D is similar, this should have good airflow, nice wire routing, and overall great case.

Had the same reaction. I paid $90 for RGB fan version of this case - three years ago. But great price for someone needing both.

Note that this is the 2021 RM850 so NOT the ATX 3.1 or PCIe 5.1 certified RM850x version with Japanese caps (if that matters to you).

Picked one up to replace case/PS in my daughter's old ghetto build.

Can anyone advise if it would be a good and future proof (at least 5 yrs) case for a gaming rig? I'm building a gaming rig this summer and I'm totally a newbie. But I'm trying to accumulate PC components whenever I see good deals.

Thanks in advance everyone!

The PSU here not the most recent standard. Specifically, it lacks a special cable that newer nvidia cards use, though you can use an adapter. If you plan on getting a radeon card, then this is great

This would be a fine gaming rig and is pretty future proof.

Doesn't seem like it would fit my use case as a NAS though. I need more HD's.

Dang, I have an MSI prebuilt with a crappy 550W PSU and I'm wondering if this is worth getting. Temps have been fine overall, especially after replacing the CPU cooler and adding some more fans. This is the prebuilt BTW:

550w is fine for that build. 5600x is an extremely power efficient chip.

This is a very good case. I have built around a dozen PCs using it or the 4000X variant. Highly recommend.

I have only built with the RM850W once and found no issues with it. IIRC it doesn't come with the PCIe gen 5 connector, but using an adapter (that should have came with your GPU) should suffice if you need it.

Solid deal!

FYI that GPU cable (12VHPWR for Corsair Type-4 PSU [corsair.com]) can be purchased for $20. Corsair doesn't have the next minor revision cable ready yet, it seems (12V-2x6) so don't buy yet unless you need it
