Generative AI is a subset of AI. Think of fractions in maths as genAI.
Fractions are super cool and important and can benefit you even without understanding everything in math, same with GenAI.

Another noob question, i keep seeing "generative AI". Is that now synonymous with AI? Like should a beginner learn about ai somewhere before stepping up to generative ai or is it all the same now?
