i bought one of these from the same walmart mainstrays brand for $79 during the last slickdeal that was like 3 years ago. i wouldnt buy again after seeing those welding spots. havent gotten into any serious injury yet. what could go wrong? the worst case is some permanent spinal cord damage. youre not going to get killed by it.
also, double as clothes/rug line to dry out.

Seriously, I think someone skipped their snack and nap at kindy... Going on about the welds and serious injuries.

Would the stand cause any damages to the floor?
The problem with these stands is that they are not long enough or tall enough to properly hang the hammock for a diagonal lay. (They are ok if you plan to treat the hammock as a chair though) You can find hammock calculators online that show you the distance and height between anchors you need for a given hammock. You want the suspension lines hanging at about 30 degrees.
I replaced the angled pipes on mine with chain link fence posts, so now it's 5ft high and 12ft long, which is perfect for my hammock. I absolutely would not recommend anything shorter for anything other than a 5 minute lounge, unless you like pretending to be a banana.
