Thoughts on this versus the Thrustmaster deal? This seems like it's solid but probably makes sense to spend less since I'm sure I won't use it too much.

Spend a little more and invest in a decent 'belt drive'. This is gear drive. Not as much immersion and the gears are known to have gear noise that bothers users.

I went to BestBuy the other day and they had this on display with a demo. It felt amazing, the quality was great, the response was crazy, and the material felt luxurious. One thing to notice is it may be loud at times from the rumble, but I don't mind that as a positive to know it's trying to give me as much a real feel as possible to what it would be like in the driver's seat. Once I get my cash flow up, this is what I'll be aiming for.

I had this, and believe the FF (force feedback was around 2) which is good for beginners. I would spend a little more and get a Fanatic CSL DD bundle which is a direct drive. The link below works for but xBox and PC. I have converted straight to PC, the FF is so much better than it is on a console. I have built a rig and love it!

Can anyone verify when the discount is applied? I tried the mouse and headset add on and it seems like the discount is not applying.

Hey buddy. I have the T300 belt drive system I got on BF for 450 if I remember correct. It's great bc it has force feedback, belt drive etc.

It's an investment for sure rn at around 450~500. Your Spyder wheel set doesn't seem to be belt drive. For a 170 I doubt you can get realistic feeling of more expensive wheel sets (wheel, motor, gears).

The GT wheel is a bit smaller. Get the encantara wheel if you want a bigger wheel.

Thanks very much, son is getting into it from his uncle and it's been a great experience for us so I'm definitely going in. I was oblivious to the wheels and the Spyder was like 100 and I thought that must be good 😂

we went in on a Xbox / PC but I'm wondering if the PS5/ PC is better

I have to check and slick deal to see it's been as low as 330 I'll guess I'll be around and see if it goes there

Same. It automatically takes $50 off but that just makes it $230 in the cart by itself. Not with anything else. And the 15% off coupon doesn't work either

Says discount does apply on "pro racing wheels and pedals"

It also says only $30 off 250

I was waiting all year for Thrustmaster deals during last year's BF. I think it bottomed out at 450. But I could have missed some deals.

I'd check which wheel sets are compatible with PS5/PC like you want. Some are for Xbox/PC. GL.
