Got mine today -- a box full of pickle juice and a broken jar. It just happened as the box still had lots of juice in it so I blame USPS (who told me my box wasn't the problem, it was another box that got mine wet. LIAR!)

Is it really that much cheaper for valasic to use high farktose corn syrup rather than sugar?

In for one at $1.54, thanks. I will probably reuse the jar and slice whole pickles to refill it.

Probably. It's contains 2% or less.

Great deal. Brine is good for summer hangovers. Empty jar is good for what-have-you— nails, screws, iced tea. Maybe not at the same time.

Sorry to hear & see this...I feel (and have felt) your pain, several times, at the hands of USPS...FedEx...and UPS...and Amazon's own vans...and the common denominator was there was insufficient protective packing to help avoid such mishaps. It's almost as if Amazon would rather roll the dice and tempt fate than just do the right thing and use adequate bubble wrap and brown paper (tossing in a couple of useless air pillows and/or a tiny sheet of thin bubble wrap and using an oversize box [or, even worse, including a 22 oz hammer, unbound!] doesn't help!)

In defense of Amazon, the jar was in a bubble wrap pouch and there was brown paper packing on the top (both can be seen in the picture). I don't blame Amazon at all -- I blame USPS because someone dropped the box hard enough to break the jar. There wasn't any damage to the box, oddly.

The Amazon return bot set me up a replacement order. Hopefully it arrives in one piece!

You're supposed to package things well enough to drop off the roof of a single story house. If it broke, it wasn't packaged well enough.

Yeah, $20 worth of packing for a $1 jar of pickles. Sound cost-effective to me!

"It's one banana, what could it cost? $10?"

Why would Amazon sell something like this? How could they possibly make any money off of it considering they probably issue refunds to half of the orders for broken jars.
