Nobody wants to go to subway, but it's a quick and cheap option (during these sales).
All of the other sandwich shops are cheaper, but when you can get 2 mediocre footlong sandwiches for $12.99 (which are usually good for 2 people and will have some leftovers), or you can get a $6.19 fries, a $9.49 big mac and a $2.99 coke, it's just the cheap option.
I'd take Jersey Mike's over subway any day, but when it's like $20 for their Giant sandwich?
It's the cheap option that you don't need to make yourself -- when these codes exist. I've gotten subway probably 10 times so far this year, and it's only because of the discounts. Nobody should be paying $13/15/17 for their sandwiches. But 2 for $12.99? 1 for $6.99?

That's not a fair comparison, should use McDonald's discounts from their app to compare to Subway discounts, at the very least free fries and McDonald's has $1.50 sodas now. Edit just checked their app and I have $6.50 big Mac deal with medium fries and coke

Might be a locality thing, but for me, the play for McD is two double cheeseburgers for $3.29.
Other options for those comparing:
$5 for 20 nuggets
BOGO free, pick two of QPC $6.39 / Big Mac $6.49 / 10 nuggets $5.49
BOGO free, pick two of Double Cheeseburger $3.29 / 6 nuggets $3.89
$1 drink
(also a BOGO on breakfast sandwiches)
One offer per 15 minutes, but can order some before you go and then separately order e.g. drink after you get there.
Yes with the 25% discount pre pay cards from Costco and 12.99 for 2 it's still $5 foot long
What inflation? 🤣
I have difficulty applying the gift card when using a coupon code. The app and website are so buggy. Many times the gift card is unavailable, but if you pay through a credit card the order goes right through.
Also a couple of times the system didn't give me rewards for orders purchased through a gift card.
