You tube reviewer got 552wh out of it via AC. It could not do sustained 600w output though. It overheated. So he tested at 440w.
The solar charge controller also didn't really handle partly cloudy skies well.

Preproduction model. Don't know if it changed anything. Not the solar charge controller, but the solar panel (not included). At the end he gives it an uplifting "cheerio ".

But what is a name-brand vs. generic brand for these devices? I don't see any Samsungs or Energizers or whomever making these devices. I've never seen any brand that makes these power stations make any other product.
Ecoflow, Anker, Bluetti and Jackery. Honorable mention to Generac, but overpriced.

I've had mine for about eight months. I use it every week. It's never let me down simple to use reliable, and I am pleased to have this. Update!! And the time I've owned it I've never let it go below 20% because that's what they recommend out there in the professional world with these type of units but two days ago running 100 W. It brought it down to zero and then I charged it all night and this morning it was still at one percent so it's been plugged in again for about two hours and it's locked into one percent so somethings wrong with it and I'm kind of pissed. !!"

So maybe starts strong but doesn't last?
Someone rang?

I have three EcoFlows and they all just work, no problems at all.
Keep in mind. The consumer electronics industry as a whole has a product failure rate of 15%. Thats a pretty high number. The people that are unlucky and fall into this 15% are much more likely to voice their opinion and say they have a shitty product in a review. Meanwhile part the other 85% got what they paid forare more likely to not leave a review at all. the odds of hitting within that 15% twice in a row and getting 2 faulty products in a row is more common than ppl think and when a person gets 2 faulty products in a row, they lose their shit and claim they'll never buy another product from that company again when realistically. that 15% failure rate is an overall average of the industry. Even brands like sony and panasonic fall into these failure rate numbers. These companies expect it and calculate for it. Also, when products fail, 90% of the time it's soon, like within the first couple months. If it doesn't go bad quickly it'll probably last a long time. esp items like hard drives and anything not solid state,

I was about to pull the trigger on two of these because they're so cheap, but I checked the warranty first, and it *only applies to purchases from Fremo directly*. What? The amazon listing mentions nothing about warranty. Fremo states purchases elsewhere are warranted only by the retailer. So... sketchy. https://www.ifremo.com/warranty/

Not sure where you got your numbers but consumer electronics failure rates are single digit percentages, not 15%

Consumer reports is a good source for failure rates for various products and brands.

regarding the 90% fails soon, the term you are looking for is infant mortality and bathtub reliability curves.
