There's a lot more differences than that.

MagSafe, OLED, bigger and brighter display, better water resistance, better rear and front facing camera, mmWave 5G, ultra wideband Chip, and Face ID.

Very much not a side grade. A good amount of those differences aren't even maybe I'll use it things. Cameras, better 5G, water resistance and the screen are all or most people can take advantage of.
Caveat emptor.

I would strongly recommend against buying any tech at woot.
Yes they're owned by Amazon but their processes are very very different from sales all the way to returns.
You can find thousands of reviews on awful mistakes they've made and how horribly painful (and time consuming) it's been to get your money back when that happens (and it happens incredibly frequently).

In my personal case, I received an absolutely disgusting disease ridden iPhone when I bought one claiming it was "grade A".
It then took 3.5 weeks for them to agree to take it back and return my money.
Absolutely! The 13 mini is a fine iPhone, and can do almost everything the latest iPhone can do. Apple even fixed the 'poor reception' and battery life issues that plagued the 12 mini. The only practical limitation is the camera. But, if you don't care about that, the 13 mini is worth having for the form factor alone. I use a 13 Pro now only because T-Mobile gave it to me for free, but I still prefer my 13 mini for everything except photos. I have retained my 13 mini as a backup.

Heads up, I needed a cheap iPhone for business line so I ordered an iPhone XR "Grade A" refurbished with a 1 year warranty for $200. The phone arrived in absolutely terrible conditions more like a grade D. On top of that, it had 65% battery health and needed to be serviced. As for the 1 year warranty, it was apparently a typo and it was only 90 days. I just returned it.

Is there a link for this deal? We are both on earlier gen SEs and feeling some pain on them right now.

I personally would for for the iPhone 11. The bigger screen and face id is worth it. The iPhone se3 is just too small.

Crap deal compared to what you can get on Swappa.
I bought a phone from Swappa before but the seller forgot to send on time or check his emails (yes, he had positive reviews). Took awhile to go through Swappa and Paypal support before it got resolved. I would rather just get the phone at a slightly higher price with a warranty and not have to worry about this.

So would these be good enough for trading in to T-Mobile? Can get $830 off on an iPhone 15 with trade in of iPhone 11 and new line to account.

I have personally bought many things from woot over the last couple of years, most of the time they ended up in a refund because there was something majorly wrong, or they sent me a counterfeit, it's not likely they would send you a counterfeit iPhone, and their return policy has been great, they would always get back to me very quick and probably, and someways I would say their customer service is easier to get a hold of than Amazon

Wish Apple sold the 13 mini refurbished. Would be well worth $500.
I've seen it on the Apple refurbished store few months back

They also have a good deal on iPhone 11 which some might prefer if you don't mind lack of 5g

If you're into stats and better technicals, sure. end user experience doesn't change much.

Did you get the 13 pro free on the basis of monthly pay backs?

I'm in the same boat and just bought another SE from the Walmart Verizon deal. There is a new SE coming in September with the mini form factor. I preferred to wait and trade in the SE for that one. It will come out to be the same price as this deal but I'll bring a new phone with 100% battery life.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the rumors are pointing towards the new SE having the same form factor as the iPhone 14 with a bog standard 6.1-inch screen. It's entirely possible that the iPhone 13 mini and the SE 2022 3rd gen are the last iPhones that will ever be sold in that form factor.

I'll disagree there. I am a user experience designer btw, so I do get the nuance here.

Brighter screen helps in bright conditions. A MagSafe car mount is actually an awesome UX upgrade. The cameras taking better photos in more difficult conditions can be the difference between having a usable photo and not.

Echo this. The return and refund process is painfully slow. Make sure you know what you are getting into.
