I've been watching these for years (and previously owned a set). This is for sure the cheapest they've been since pre-pandemic. Even before then I don't remember it going lower than this.

Super easy. I use them daily. Saves a ton of room and easily adjustable.

I recently bought the sport exp through woot but now I want to purchase the stage 2. These don't say sport exp inside of woot and I've been looking to see if they would be compatible. Any ideas?

On May 13th, I ordered stage 3 of powerblock grey sport exp to fit my red model as is shown here. They fit perfectly.

How practical are these for newbies to use as opposed to standard dumbbells? I don't want apprehension or difficulty setting them to be a deterrent to use them.

I bought the base set about a month ago and they are very easy to use after taking a few minutes to understand the mechanics. One minor gripe that I didn't think through before buying them - some 2.5 lb increments are not possible: 12.5, 22.5, etc. +10 because of the design. I still recommend them.

I own them and some exercises are awkward due to the shape. It also takes more time to select the desired weight than some other adjustable dumbbells, especially if you need to fiddle with the adder weights. Weighted dips for example are extremely awkward (possible with a dip belt) and goblet squats seem to be impossible.

I also have the 55lb NordicTrack adjustable dumbbells which are easier to use, shaped like regular dumbbells, and faster to adjust as well. I prefer them in almost all cases but they also feel much flimsier and top out at 55 lb (I bought the PowerBlock Sport EXP along with the expansions so I could get to higher weights).

BTW, $200 is definitely the lowest they've ever been new. I think prior to this only open box were sold at $200.

This or Bowflex? Which do most people prefer? Pros/Cons of each?
