As a price reference, Costco Wholesale's Kirkland Signature Nitrile Exam Gloves [costco.com] is usually $24.99 for 400 gloves, which works out to be $6.25 per 100 gloves. For this deal, it is $2.49 per 100 gloves. Also, I think Kirkland Signature gloves are 3 mil, whereas these are a bit thicker at 4 mil.

Of course, not all brands of disposable gloves are made equally. I personally have been using Venom Steel for years, although they are pricey. If anyone is interested, YouTuber Project Farm did an interesting test of disposable gloves: Best Gloves (Nitrile vs Latex)? Venom Steel vs Grease Monkey, Hardy, Phantom, Raven, Gloveworks [youtube.com]

I poked around and found out that these are branded as Hand-E Touch, and the Amazon listing of the 3 mil version is here [amazon.com].

I hope this helps,

Great, I needed more gloves soon. These 4-mils work fine - I purchased them back in December and have gone through over 600 so far. Only one defective glove in the first 6 boxes, and they are plenty tear-resistant - they have held up similarly to other, thicker nitriles I've used. It's usually either a sharp edge that slices them, same as what happens to thicker nitriles, or I have to toss them due to sweat pooling up after hours of working with them on.

For less waste, I usually just wash my "hands" with them on, then keep working. They do discolor easily, usually turning a bit green-ish in color at the palm, but that just shows how durable these have been in my experience. Harbor Freight 5mils have torn far more easily.

Got one of these 1000ct gloves deal on Woot some time ago for $30 I think. Was hesitant at first because people were complaining that they were too thin and would tear. Not sure what they're using it for, but I use it for cleaning and cooking, and they don't tear for me. For cleaning, I even use a pair multiple times.

Don't get the nitrile gloves… I bought them twice and both were from different companies past expiration dates and would constantly rip when putting them on size Large. They are not 4mil trust me

If these are the same 1000 pack gloves that were available a few months ago, they are really poor quality. I bought some, and they tear super easily compared to other disposable nitrile gloves that I've had.

Can these nitrile gloves be used for cooking? What is the general consensus here?!

Edit: I see it has a picture of food handling so I will trust whatever I see on the internet.
