Dumb question I'm sure: Can the battery-less version be used for broken parts on the battery version? i.e. if I have a battery version, can I use a 2nd battery-less one to fix it?

It looks like the pieces are a bit different on both, so it might depend on WHAT is broken.
Most likely, the best bet is to contact meta quest support, they'll probably end up just replacing a broken one for free without returning it. I feel that even if it is repairable, or the parts are compatable, it leaves a lot of room for potential damage
