Better CPU, double the RAM and storage with a much better GPU. Is this worth the extra money? Yes.

But if you have any problems with this item.....B&H return policy will make you think twice about buying anything from them. Even if it's a great deal.

Freaking windows update made my pc go crazy

It keeps. Typing /// as soon as I do mouse click and won't allow me to type anything
Which version of Windows? 10? 11? Which update? Have you tried disconnecting the mouse, starting your PC, logging in, and then typing "restore" to restore your OS to a previous restore point? Can you get into safe mode from any of these options: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000124344/how-to-boot-to-safe-mode-in-windows-10 [dell.com] ? Have you tried resetting your PC via the "Keep My files" setting using just the keyboard? Have you checked your PC for viruses or malware? Do you know how to use the command line? Do you know how to run chkdsk or scan my drive to search for file system errors? Have you downloaded a copy of your OS to a USB flash drive so you can troubleshoot your PC?

Very great points, It window 10 latest version that came out on june 11.

I tried to scan, with window defender and it shows threat found. But it does not move forward when I click start action so it stuck

I have Kasper anti virus which says no threat found

So far I am able to uninstall update that was applied but I have not tried some of the option you mentioned as as soon as I click mouse it start auto typing..

I will try to follow some of your suggestions but I am sure I do not have a restore point so let see how much i can achieve

Thanks again for this suggestions

I pulled the trigger. Thank you all for the comments. I am so overdue for a new desktop. It will be hard keeping this away from my 12-year-old!

I'm not sure if we're looking at two different T5's but the T5 I'm looking at has the same amount of RAM (but 5200 instead of 5600) and a 4070 ti Super. Is the non-super better than the super? If so, they need to rename their equipment 😂

The super version of the 4070 TI is better, it has 16GB video ram vas 12GB video ram on the regular 4070 TI. I don't know how much difference this will make on the gaming side, but my son is using it for AI modeling and the larger video ram allows him to run larger models. 16GB is the preferred minimum so AI

~18% boost in performance, but the ram could prove clutch if you are keeping it for a long time

Oh I understand it's better. I was replying to a comment that said this deal has a better GPU which is incorrect. Read the original comment that I replied to Smilie

I thought I had clicked a link that had one listed that was a 4060 with less RAM and storage. I guess I didn't? Because the links I see here now show the same specs but with a better GPU.

Now, the 4070 TI Super is only really better in the 4k range. For anything less, both will perform around the same. That extra RAM helps with the 4k video but thats about all.
