Of course natural foods have sugar but not 62g of it in a 12 oz cup. One lemon has 1.5g of sugar. A cup of blueberries are 15g of sugar. Still no where close to the whopping 62G.

Smoothie King - what a joke. Back when I was trying to bulk I used to (ignorantly) buy a strawberry hulk every workout. After a few months my heath went to crap. Acne. Greasy face. Bad heartburn. Palpitations. Nausea.

One day while waiting in line to pick up my smoothie I curiously looked at the nutritional chart for a 20 oz hulk.

131g of sugar (AHA recommends less than 40g a day…)
16g fat.
390 mg sodium.
110 mg cholesterol.

I never bought one again. Not to mention the crazy costs these days.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from smoothie king. Nothing healthy about it. And if you want to treat yourself to a pre-diabetic snack, then buy the ingredients and make It yourself. Just Google the copycat recipe.

I used to be ok spending $5 on Friday for the gladiator with plain strawberries and spinach added. It's the only menu option low in sugar iirc.

But nowadays it comes out to 21.76 for my husband and I to each get one. Then the app stopped working. I don't go there anymore.
