It has one hose which is used to expel the hot air outside. This creates less pressure inside and thus hot air comes in through all seal imperfections in the house. Thus, cooling efficiency is low.
The units with two houses also have an intake hose (sometimes one of them is an inner core of the other) which balance the pressures in the house and outside. Simple physics.

Pictures available for this unit show only one hose. There must be a reason why it is so cheap, relatively speaking. I did go over the unit's description and did not find any references
to the way it deals with pressure imbalance or the number of air hoses. This is not a good sign.
