I think this is actually, finally dead as I can no longer get any coupons to appear.
----------------
Microcenter is offering $100 off any laptop coupon to new customers when you sign up and create a new account.
A new account is one where the email address and cell phone number don't exist in their system, and they accept the cell phone number. (I think Google Voice Numbers and some others will not work.)
I don't have a direct link to the coupon, it will appear when you go to their laptop section and scroll down the page. They have a $15 off coupon that appears sometimes, and sometimes it's $100 off a laptop.
Treat this as a YMMV, and don't try to cheat the system by using multiple coupons please.
Updated 08/25/2024 - More repeatable way to get the coupon with video:
Here's a video of me getting the coupon in around 30 seconds, but sometimes it has taken up to 5 minutes:
https://imgur.com/a/qk4eW2I
Note: In the video the last tab I open has the $100 off, but that was just luck, it often appears on another tab.
1: Open this page/post.
2: Right click on the following link and choose "Open link in incognito mode" in Chrome
https://www.microcenter.com/categ...-notebooks
3: When the page opens in incognito mode select the tab and right click on it and choose "Duplicate." Do this many times, I usually do it 10 times so 11 incognito tabs are open at the web address.
4: Click on a tab to bring it to the front and scroll down the page at some point the coupon offer
may appear.
5: If the coupon does not appear, or a different coupon appears, then close the tab and try on the next tab, or chose "Duplicate" to get more tabs.
6:When the coupon appears sign up for a new account. They'll text a verification link to your phone and your email address.
7: Accept the verification on the phone and they'll text you a link to a unique one-time use coupon tied to your account.

1. Download ProtoVpn on PC and use the free version
2. Once ProtoVpn is set up, connect to a server - this will be random so you need to cycle through random servers until you hit a United States server. It cannot be international.
3. Once its set up, open chrome incognito (make sure no other tabs are open on chrome/any other browsers) and paste this link into it: https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx? N=4294967288&sortby=pricelow&NTK=all&page=.... [microcenter.com]
4. This should be the only window and tab of chrome open. Next there are 2 things you need to click on screen. In the search bar of chrome, click on the pinpoint icon and "allow microcenter.com to access your location". Then on the bottom of the screen, click the black "accept" cookies button. Scroll down slowly on the page after this. A random coupon will appear on screen.
5. Now this may not be the right coupon (15 off 30 or 50 dollars of laptop). To fix this close chrome completely (nothing open), and reopen and paste the link again. Make sure to click the buttons again and another coupon will appear
6. You may need to keep repeating this process to get the right coupon. It could take anywhere from 1-7 times.
7. You should be able to get the coupon now!
just got an ASUS i3 for $54 and change due to this method, in a modified fashion using different browser and vpn but generally the same process SanKan detailed (laptop specs and price further below)
1) I pay normally the $1 a month to Apple with my ipad for more storage, backups, and hide my email. It also has some feature in safari private mode that acts as a vpn, supposedly to make it harder to do tracking aka what I am doing here
2) thus I followed a modified version of the steps using safari in private , instead of using chrome in private. Since microcenter sees me as a new customer that is allowing cookies, location, and accept back in forth they gave coupons even though due to the safari vpn is spoofing my location and some of the privacy data. Thus I got the $50 off coupon for laptops, something I forgot for $15 off, and on the third try $100 off.
3) gave my second phone number I use (tracfone bundles with cheap phone), and my spare email and after I confirm my email they sent me another text message with a specialized upc that is unique to me
4) went in store, at 11 in the morning there were 25 laptops (not when I started), when I got there at 345 in the afternoon there were 4 left. Talked to a sales rep explained it was a christmas present and 75 seconds later I am going to a cashier with a print out that allowed the cashier to get the laptop out from lockup.
5) at the cashier they scan my upc and made me enter my phone number manually into those cards machines for debit and credit cards. Did not ask for an ID but did ask for my name. Scan the upc they texted me via the phone and I was out the door.
=======
Thus a $269.99 laptop (see below) on sale for $149.99 became $49.99 and thus with tax $54 and some coins in my city of houston

supposedly the ram is upgradable and the screen is IPS, will confirm later (at a fast food place typing it up on my ipad and sharing out of gratitude)
I am curious for a screen comparison

• what they are checking is your phone number not your ID (they have done driver license in the past)
and you give them a phone and e-mail to obtain the coupon in the first place
