I built a box recently with a 850w Cooler Master SFX PSU and the PSU has the loudest fan when things ramp up. Very disappointing.

Here's a Seasonic 1000 watt for the same price. Not sure how other's feel, but I personally trust Seasonic over anyone else for a PSU.

"Seasonic Focus V3 GX-1000 | 1000W | 80+ Gold | ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 Ready | Full-Modular | Low Noise | Premium Japanese Capacitor | Nvidia RTX 30/40 Super & AMD GPU Compatible (Ref. SSR-1000FX3)" https://a.co/d/0fpM3Sqj

B comes after A so therefore it is inferior. I need an A, not a B. B won't work for me. I have no clue why I need an A over a B, but I'll make sure I buy an A.

Whatever you do, do not buy a CoolerMaster. I had a really bad experience with a 1250w power supply that lasted a month and a half before the fan died. In itself, that's ok, stuff happens, but their support is abysmal. Initially, their support site was down for 2+ weeks. While down, I could not start the RMA. I called support and they confirmed that that's the only way to start a return. Once the site came back, I generated the RMA and sent back my unit. They have been holding it since the end of May and I still have yet to receive my replacement 1.5 months later! Of course when I call the RMA phone number on the email I received, no one ever picks up. When I did email support, they came back and told me that they don't have those parts anymore and to wait. It's a big joke and I'm never going to buy their stuff again. As an aside, around the same time, I had a HW issue with a video card from XFX. Their support, in contrast, was great.

Finally, I ended buying an 850w supply from Thermaltake. Seems to be a solid unit and the fan is much quieter.
