- no idea who makes the mobo or psu
- the ram is stupidly slow and will be a bottleneck the rest of the system in some games
- the radiator is a bit overkill for the extremely cool running 7800x3d.
Despite those criticisms, this Skytech is absolutely a deal worth considering. As a comparison, I spec'd a few systems on PCpartpicker and came up with this:
https://pcpartpicker.co
- quality parts across the board with maybe only the ssd being suspect, but it's fine for gaming and is 4tb instead of Skytech's more modest 2tb.
- very good bang-for-the-buck rgb Lian Li case and plenty of other great options around $100
- Swapped Skytech's liquid cpu cooler for a Peerless Assassin air cooler. Then upgraded the 4090 to the MSI Suprim liquid cooled model.
- any number of x670 or b650 mobos fit the bill. This one has WiFi and 3x m.2 2280 ssd slots for plenty of storage upgrades
- 6000MHz ram with low CAS & first word latencies versus the crap 5200 sticks in the Skytech
- Solid fully modular Corsair power supply with the proper plug for a 4090
- windows 11 pro OEM included. I didn't cheat by not including the OS.

The OPs post doesn't come with windows pro, so that's silly to include. Also, for real comparison purposes he should have thrown in an AIO. The liquid cooled 4090 is actually one of the cheapest you can buy, for some reason the air cooled models are all going for more, so that is ok.
Intel is still good processors in the i5 and i7s, but for a gaming system the choice is a no brainer. i9s are way too hot and they STILL get beaten out by far by the 7800x3d when it comes to gaming.
I'm running a 7800X3D and an RTX 4080 computer with 64GB of RAM (ram is overkill, yes)....

Anyway, I'd buy a computer again from them in an instant, and this is a great price.
I did see that they contract out the first layer of support, so I wasn't sure I wasn't going to get scammed until I got an email from a Skytech domain.
One other thing, I think their build quality is really high. Cable management is good, and shipping/packaging is really good. They pack the inside of the case so nothing moves. I was really impressed with the purchase, even more than NZXT, to be honest.
