"Endemic Assisted"?

Yo Cleve, did you remember to bring your switchblade to tonight's rumble?

No, but my new endemic assisted opening knife should do the trick!
Recently bought this during a deal spree on Kershaw knives. By far the worst knife out of the bunch, either a washer is bent or there is some gunk built up but its the only assisted blade that wouldn't even fully open without assistance. Liner lock is the weak sort that has that scary play in it that says I'm about to lose a finger if I use this knife for anything other than boxes. Also the pics don't show it well but it is stupid thiiiiickk for a knife its size.
Always a sucker for a good knife deal, in for one.

I believe this is the site they meant, but it has the hallmarks of a Chinese spoof or scam site

Looks like they've been at this price for a while; guess they weren't selling too well.

Blade shape is slick, not a fan of the futuristic-style handle though; people are already kind of scared when you snap a knife open in 2 milliseconds around them. Don't also need them thinking I'm back from 2085 to stop the robots from taking over—I'm opening Amazon packages.

I only buy the ones that are made in USA. Most of them are cheap China crap.
Most of them are crap. The Iridium is the best knife they have produced in decades and made in China. Still like my Knockout and Dividend in M390 but prefer the ergos and action of the Iridium.

Thanks for posting.

Shipping kills it for me though (I guess I need more friends who actually need a knife also... in order reach a $100 total for free shipping).

LOL. Repped you anyway, OP. : )
You don't need to meet the $100, you just need to have one of the free shipping items in the cart for the whole order to ship free. I just ordered two different knives, one was tagged for free shipping and one not but there are no shipping charges checking out. BTW used the 10% code I think it was HAPPY4TH.

Bought this last time it was on sale. Nice knife, sharp, and light. I like the way it feels in the hand.

Every free shipped knife is at least $50. Now you're really killing the deal 😂

Sorry to thread hijack a little, but it is at least knife-related.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good basic self-defense type knife. Specifically I'm thinking of something for when I go hiking, in the unlikely event a mountain lion or other wildlife decides I look like a good next meal I could make it reconsider with a couple stabs. So, something that wouldn't require a lot of fiddling with if I ever need to use it, and could be kept in my car when I'm not out on a trail somewhere. I'm living in California which seems to have a law regarding keeping certain kinds of knives in your car. Ideally I'd like to avoid that ever becoming an issue if I get pulled over.

Nice steel for the price, it's comparable to AUS-8 / 440c.

Nope, total was under $35 the free ship one was $20 the SRM 9201 which is well regarded on knife subreddits, just have to click on that page and sort by price. I know I always have to narrow the price range a bit to have the ascending price sort work though.

Edit: Offers have changed since I placed the order, now cheapest free shipping item is $23+ throwing hatchet. SRM 9201 is no longer free shipping but some are down to 11.25.

Very general but you may want to go with a fixed blade, but not a dirk or dagger. Also knife specific forums is probably better than one focused on deal seeking. Defending against animals probably involves things other than a weapon too so that would be yet another forum for outdoorsman or something.

Bought 2 of these last time this deal went live for $12 apiece. First one came out with stripped screws—pulled the liner right out with it, it was like polycarbonate spaghetti. Then I tried to loosen the pivot screw and the bolt just decided to keep on spinning, so I guess the blade is permanently set to that tension now. lmao

The second knife didn't seem to have as many issues, but I also didn't press my luck by trying to take it apart & clean it up. Whatever lube was used at the factory seems like it did more harm than good during the period these sat in storage until they finally decided to clearance them. Both of mine were pretty sticky and the liner parts that came out with the screw threads seemed brittle. I'm annoyed, but for $12 I feel like I asked for it. Kershaw would probably honor some kind of exchange/warranty, but again—I'm not sure at $12 it's even worth my time.
