Chemistry degree, here. You should in fact, avoid mixing bleach with vinegar AND bleach with ammonia

Bleach + vinegar = chlorine gas (toxic)

Bleach + ammonia = chloramine gas (less toxic but still not safe)

I feel like the warning to not use this soap near bleach is probably not highlighted enough, nor would 99.99% of the population even think that this could be a problem. Accidentally making chlorine gas in your kitchen could be pretty bad for you. It seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen with this product.

Its a little weaker but works well. I found some newer versions of dawn leave a scent/soap taste and does not wash off easily.

Ajax works well enough without leaving a taste on the plates.

I use to use Ajax primarily. But found the Kirkland (costco) dish soap works better without leaving anything behind.

Looking at reviews they changed the scent of the classic dawn recently and many people are basically saying it is vomit inducing….I'm sure it still cleans well but the scent is horrible now supposedly. I went with a Palmolive Ibotta deal on the last go.

Doesn't sud nearly as well as Dawn, but it's great for washing hands cheaper than "hand soap"
