I had a bobsweep. It fell down a flight of concrete stairs into my basement. I sent it in and they sent me a new unit with instructions on how to treat my new unit better. This unit lasted awhile until it went out my open front door and into the rainy lawn.

They have AMAZING Customer support. I had my exchange, a rebuild (at my cost) and had to order some wear and tear parts. A wheel fried out, I had to replace several parts like beater bars, all normal stuff. I went through 4 batteries in that time, only item I wish was better. It performed phenomenally for 5-6 years. It did get lost a time or two and I had to put it on its base, it had a taste for charging cords which it choked on, and electrical plug wires that were loose on the ground.

I bought a Costco Irobot. When it works, it has better suction, but the bob would work and clean areas several times for same result. The Irobot is a turd by comparison. It constantly is on base and looses connection, contacts have a smudge so it won't charge, There will be a week where it won't work if I don't nudge it into its dock, or flip it over to figure out if a twist-tie or a piece of paper clogged something or if it is just being a mysterious POS that wants to be difficult and take 20 minutes to determine WTF is wrong with it.... None of those issues with Bob.

If I was not horribly out of warranty, and had not irrevocably soaked my bob in the rain and had not bought the iRobot, I would have done an upgrade where I send my old unit in for a partial credit towards a new one.

The company is fabulous to work with. ANY issue is resolved in a positive manner. I might have had to pay some shipping, but usually I was shocked at how well they took care of me. It was not as strong as my new robot, but it sure worked better and was more reliable.

Reviews on Sam's Website looks good. Plus they are mentioning that privacy matters and all information is only stored in US and Canada based clouds and nothing send abroad...

I've had one for a couple of months. Works well, really good at picking up dog hair. Never used the mop.

Bought it for the same sale price here a few months back. Its my first smart vac and it's given me a huge relief on sweeping up cat hair every day. Wouldn't pay $500 for it, but definetly $200 is worth it.

I had one and returned it. The biggest problem was the brush kept falling off. I had to find it at a random location in my house every time.

Bought it at Best Buy for the same price, can't complain about it. It just works. I'm skeptical of all these robots, they'll never replace the broom or the mop, but makes the house a bit less dirty.

Has anyone actually used the mop part of this? That's the main reason I want to get it but most of the reviews say I haven't tried the mop part yet lol

Yes I have used the mop part. It does basic cleaning well. Con is it holds very less water so we need to refill after every cleaning and remove the mop part and dry every time too.

Does anyone know if this can detect and avoid objects on its way, while doing Vaccum / mop?
