Personal Experience:I have two Flumes: one at my hair salon, and one at my home. Both Flumes have alerted me to a number of leaks that could have been disastrous had I not known about them. Everyone in LA should have a Flume, especially since they are currently FREE (or pretty darn close)!

Started with Flume 1 which had so many issues. They gave me one free and when this came out and I had an issue with my replacement flume 1 they gave me GEN 2 free if I paid $19.99 S&H. Next gen really helped.
I'd say get their battery packs when you need them. I put my own batteries in on gen one and it was a pain. Paying $20 every year or so isn't bad for what you get.
Great customer service. I hope they don't go under.
It'd be terrific if it didn't rely on Flume's backend service over the internet for basic functionality and could work locally without internet access, but oh well.
