No. It's not if you do anything in excel or the like. The pixel density is absolutely lovely. I use 3 4k 27" uhd monitors at work. Nothing better. My left monitor hosts my web browser and email. Middle is dedicated to our main company software. The left is host to all sorts of other programs and file explorer. It's absolutely smooth and amazing.

High pixel density spoils your eyes and relieves strain imo.
Nope. I love my 4k 27 inch older Samsung monitor. Text looks so much crisper. These are geared toward productivity users like writers and coders who stare at lines of text all day.

I have two of these for my mac mini M2. Love them.

There is a current Amex promo (YMMV). I have $50 off $250, which brings this monitor down to $202 for me after tax.

My 4k monitor I used for work for all productivity apps died on me during a power outage. I have a 1080p on the right for when I screen share so things are more readable to the audience but ive been on the hunt for a 4k monitor to replace my dead one and it's been killing me to work on a 1080p screen. 27" is perfect for normal desk sitting distance

How does 4K work? Does it give 1080p sized font but twice the sharpness or does it run native where everything is tiny?
