I own two 23qt versions since they fit perfectly in a cargo roof carrier or both in the front seat floor or seat itself to get maximum space when car camping.
Anything bigger it will be over 13" in height and won't fit in a roof carrier or on the floor in a front seat/ on front seat, in most cars on the road..
So unless you are doing day trips or setting up a tent base camp, most people will hate lugging around anything bigger than a 30qt. The 30qt barely fits in the tesla under trunk space and you cannot run it because of limited air flow in that space. These will exhaust alot of heat or need too for cooling.

Having the ability to store in a bag an extra cost will insulate it for at least 8 hours while turned off. Thats why I suggest you rethink what size you really want to lug around. Bigger doesn't always mean better in some use cases.
I don't need a power station I have v2l on the ioniq 5 and its basically a 77KW generator. Overall its a good fridge with a reputable 2 year warranty. also forgot to mention owning two units is better since one unit can be a dedicated freezer or fridge, and have a single cooler trying to do both jobs never works well.

I just got the 30QT last week for something like $215+ tax... So far I like it, note that the 30QT uses 30W eco and 45W max while this appears to use 45W eco and 60W max. Keep this in mind if you are powering from ecoflow/jackery.

That's the problem I have with these things. Different sizes, batteries or not, dual zone or not, different compressor locations. It's all so hard to figure out what to get.

If you want a fridge to sit in your front seat if you are camping in the back get a 23qt. Mine can barely fit in a ioniq 5 on the floor in the front seat. If you think your car is larger take precise measurements where you think you might want to store it during your travels. I have access to a plug inside my car that can pull 1875 w while driving, called V2L. Most of these fridges only pull 45-60w when cooling so its best to cool your fridge down at least 1-2 hours before leaving the house. As an example I went with 23qt because its about 13 " high no more than 14" it will fit perfectly in a roof carrier made by Thule XL motion XT. I could if i wanted to buy a insulation bag , cool it down then store it up inside cargo carrier. When i am on the road you would put it in back seat or preferably in the hatch. I would see 43qt being an issue in a sedan if you have no height clearance in your trunk.
Everyone has difference use cases. I would spend alittle more money if your car is smaller and just two 23qt to make one a fridge or freezer. You never know when your girlfriend might want ice cream during the trip haha. Also duel zone portable fridges are not worth it imo unless you have ALOT of space as they never cool as well as a dedicated freezer. Unless of course you are willing to spend 500+ for a good name brand with a reputable warranty like this company.

key tips is to get your tape measurer out and figure out which unit suits you. Thats what i did before buying the 23qt units

I only used it once on a trip and yes it works good , keep in mind you have a 2 year warranty with the company from the date of purchase. They will send you a certificate showing the warranty. I bought mine directly off the website and was annotated automatically.

When putting warm bottles of water it will take longer to cool so always start the units at the house at least a few hours to the lowest temp before switching over to vehicle power. I have a direct power line using V2L which is 1875w max and up to 77KW on my battery i n my ioniq 5 but using a power station id recommend at least 1000-2k+ watt to pull 45-60w for each unit. Giving you a good 24-40 hours of power until you hit up a hotel/camp ground or free power to charge up your powerstation .
Definitely beats using ICE as everything is clean and smells like a fridge keeping your food at a set temp makes it last longer.

It's $210 now with the EC30 promotion. Is this still a good deal?

So.... the pre Blackfriday price was 258 and blackfriday price is 320 before coupons? Even after BF coupon does not bring the price down to 199.50. The coupons on this forum do not seem to work anymore. The lowest it is showing is 217.60 after BF coupons.
