If you're currently using a phone on TF, your can activate phone #1 WITH A TRANFER from your current phone to have your current phone number, days, units transferred to phone #1, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #1 get added on top. Then activate phone #2 with a transfer from phone #1. After that, if you prefer to use your current phone, re-activate your current phone with a transfer from phone #2. Smart existing TF users do that all the time to "harvest" cheap service days and units from those HSN/QVC bundles.
The service plan is 1500 text, 1500 minutes, 1.5gb data -- for the *entire year*. Not per month. That's about 4 minutes of talk time per day.
It's an extremely minimal and restrictive cellular plan, one that you could even call insultingly low - especially if you're used to cellular plans in modernized nations (aka, ones outside the the USA). It's not for everyone, and make sure it fits your use case.

I'm a rookie and I don't know what else you might have meant by merging numbers together.
I do this all online through chat as that is the easiest to do with proof. Be sure they understand what number you want to keep & have them tell you your current amounts of data/min for both numbers and the new combined amount. I have done this multiple time with no issues but ymmv. Currently have service till like 2030 lol.
I thought they lowered it to 2500 points but I am seeing 7000 points pending from referral with a new account.

The referring account got 6k points (2nd tier)

Line Transfers: Also, I've been doing this for many years, and had no problems switching from my current phone to the second phone and then back using the Tracfone site (I have all ~8 years of my data/minutes/text and extended subsription date). The "DIY" process that a lot of people mention works fine. I'm still trying to decide what to do with the second new (Moto G 24) phone. I might keep it as a spare since I might upgrade my primary (old) phone within the next year; if not, I'll go through the same process again. I'm using the Moto G 24 as a spare music player and for miscellaneous apps that work well on WiFi.
Unlocking Policy: The Tracfone Unlock Site [tfwunlockpolicy.com] seems to clearly state that you just have to have activate the phone and then can unlock within 60 days. Either this is poorly-written and inaccurate, or you the phone can be unlocked just by entering the IMEI if it was EVER on the network (I haven't seen much discussion about this, though many people mention that they were able to unlock in under 60 days). Of course, it could be consistent with the rest of the: Poorly designed, sometimes deceptive on purpose, and just low-quality all around. Still, it seems to work for at least basic things.
I hope this helps some of you, and thanks to OP for the original deal. It seems that the better deals come out around this time of year (mid- to late-summer).

Transferring back to the original phone I used the original sim, no need to get a new byop sim.
Only thing that sucks is I had to open both boxes for the text message verification so now they are open box for resale or keep.
Whats current reward points for adding line? if I don't care for my current number, better to add a line for more rewards, right?

Unfortunately the AAL bonus is only 500 points I think, so it's not worth the effort (chat with TF to add for the points to show as adding it yourself may not get the points at all. Have not done AAL for a long time so don't know if it improved.) Referral is another way to earn points but sometimes no points are given to either account.
