Welcome to 2024. We moved passed 2014 CDMA vs GSM stupidity.
Nope. I ported multiple. Just open Google voice number and unlock for $3. Then create voice main pin and that's it. Provide those to total by Verizon when you want to transfer
This will most likely go down to $100 in a couple of months based on previous Razr series.

Got the 2023 Razr (non plus) for $99 a couple months back. Looks like the upped the memory from 128 to 256 and added a larger outside screen. New processor seems on par with 2023 model. Not sure what else is an upgrade with 2024 Razr (non plus).

I think last time I tried to port out my GV number it was $20

To port in a number in is $20. To have one generated and port out of GV is $3.

Unlock ‪(XXX) XXX-XXXX‬ with Google Voice?
Your Voice number is locked to prevent someone else from taking it. To port this number to another service provider, unlock it before starting the porting process with your new provider.

The cost for unlocking your number is a one-time fee of $3.00 paid through Google Pay. If your number was ported into Voice from another service provider, you won't be charged for unlocking the number. Learn more

Where did you see $50 for 1 month of service? The only option I see is $79 a month.

Total By Verizon selling Moto razr 2024 for $199+ Tax + $50 for 1 month of service.

Phone will be automatically unlock after 60 days. NO recharge require after first month.

This is the cheapest foldable you can get.

Also Its a big upgrade from 2023 moto razr

You can initially use any phone number for verification, even you primary number , if you donot have any extra as of now to port , receive the code on primary and verify it. Once you receive the device , you can use google voice number to port-in , which will cost $3 only. Google voice number will take 3 days to port. I did this multiple times without any issue.

I just looked at Total plans and Total 5G is $55 without auto pay, and Total 5G+ is $65 without auto pay. I don't know why you saw $79. Were you looking at cost for multiple lines?

After my experience with their customer support and website glitches, I am porting out.
One example is when they text you a link to free Disney plus, but when you open it they show you no subscriptions available page.

No, man...it's a CDMA device - it won't work on Mint, which is GSM only.

Weirdly, 2020 iPhone 12 for $180 is most likely a better deal
No its not. You might like iPhones better but a 4 year old iPhone 12 at a $20 discount is certainly not a better deal than a brand spanking new 2024 foldable.

In for 1. After inputting a valid port number and ID verification, the phone discount is automatically applied at checkout without having to sign up for Auto Pay. Total was $199.00 + $55.00 + tax.

Absolutely not. The iPhone 12 only has 64gb of storage vs 256gb. Only 4gb or ram vs 8gb. Only a 60hz display vs 120hz.

Maybe the iphone 12 has better trade in value. Maybe. But if you only want one to trade in then might as well just get one refurbished from straight talk for $120 + $35 for a 1 month plan.
