I have relied on this brand for years but now buyers need to be advised about Fiskars lifetime warranty and total lack of customer service staffing. You can no longer get anyone on the phone. Sure, they have a phone number but it says fill out the web form and hangs up on you. They have a web form and you won't hear from them for months, if you do at all. The same goes for Gilmour, which is owned by the same company called Lawn and Garden based in Irving,Texas. I had two hose nozzles that qualified for the lifetime warranty replacement. I even had the original receipts from years ago. After 3 months of waiting for anyone to reply to me, I had really given up, only one nozzle came in the mail in a box with no explanation.

For heartier pruning a ratcheting pvc cutter thats around 10$ works so well. Use them for all harvesting. Requires much less effort

I would agree their customer service has declined, and everything is now online.

I have warrantied 3 different Fiskars items, one each in 2019, 2022, and 2024. With the last claim, I had by far had the longest wait for a reply, about a month. Also, for the first time I also had to submit a receipt in addition to the photo of the item for a claim.

Luckily I remembered I had purchased online so i could look up the receipt. Can't imagine having to hold onto the receipts forever to now get a Fiskars item warrantied. I purchased a Fiskars Kangaroo collapsible pickup bag from Grocery Outlet early in the year and lost track of the receipt before I knew it was required for warranty.
