The non-heatsink 2TB version is a better option IMO. It's $10 cheaper and easier to convert to an external with an enclosure, which will likely happen because FireCuda 530R's selling point is durability (2400* TBW, 5 yr warranty).

A top tier 2TB Gen 4 NVMe for $130? It's a good deal.

*Edit: 5050 was for 4TB SSD. 2400 is still a ton (compare to Samsung 990 Pro's 1200 TBW and GM7000's 1500 TBW). Note that the 530R version is a refresh of the 530, and has 30% faster Random Read / Random Write per their spec sheet.
