It was a fascinating watch and in several ways did thing differently from the hulu show.

Watched this on paramount plus.... Cast includes a young John Rhys Davies who went on to play Gimli in the Lord Of The Rings.

i own this on dvd from a long time ago. one of my favourite books and the series is excellent too.

Just watched the DVDs from our local library. I read the book and watched the series when it first came out. Loved it then and now.

Haven't had a chance to watch the new one but doubt it will have the influence of the original,

Does anyone know if this has the fake widescreen, where they take the original 4:3 aspect ratio and cut off the top and bottom to make it 16:9? North and South did this and I had to ask for my money back.
