As a teacher I can tell you the Target verison is HIGHLY superior to the Dollar Tree baskets. I probably own 100 in my classroom and my home. I'll never buy another brand of basket again.

Is it the same, though? I have a few from the dollar store, and the plastic is flimsy in comparison. Still works depending on your usage, but my experience with the Target ones are that they are little more sturdy feeling (actual sturdiness is untested since I'm in the habit of leaving these where I set them instead of toting them around).

Yes, they have baskets for $1.25. No, they are not like these as I have both and will not buy the Dollar Tree ones again. Sometimes a bargain isn't a bargain.

I suggest anyone wanting small plastic storage bins go to Dollar Tree first to see what they have and then go to Target if you can't find strong enough $1.25 bins. Dollar Tree also has some more expensive bins in their Plus section. So you really have to look at the bins at each store to decide. I have a mixture of bins from both stores.
