The study is extensive.
Personally, if i have the choice, i'm not eating it. i can get my essential nutrients from other sources that don't also have lead and hope that whatever i'm ingesting isn't enough to do any damage. as a healthy adult eating an ounce now and then, probably not a big deal. an ounce a day, every day over years... maybe it does something. and who eats an ounce of chocolate!?! I sure don't.
Thank you though, for posting these additional studies. I was not aware of them but the conclusion is alluded to in the CR study. Essentially, avoid for children, pregnant women, elderly, or weakened population. Otherwise, keep it moderate and you should be ok but if you can choose a brand with lesser amounts of toxic metals, why not?
