test with trial plan if possible. mint signal is abysmal in my area(NorCal bay area) to the point it's unusable whenever it matters. The deprioritizing is too much
It's gotten a lot worse since the company sold. I used to be able to use my phone sometime at work, it sucks for all phones, but now I barely ever can.
Deprioritizing in conjested areas of Atlanta make it nearly unusable. Like good luck using it around Atlanta Airport.

Probably can only get referral credit on the first line but still worth using a referral link to get a $15 credit for the first renewal in 3 months.

With T-Mobile taking over, going to notice more and more deals excluding T-Mobile lines. Wonder if it will spill over to the referral program at some point too (they've often done extra credit for moving ATT and Verizon but never excluded T-Mo).

Xfinity is technically Verizon, so it might work.

As long as MVNOs of AT&T and VZ are allowed, there are a few to get new numbers for cheap to port in.

We are a bit north in Folsom area and Mint Mobile/T-Mobile are good. We get 5G; voice and data are both top notch.

Specifically AT&T or Verizon lmao.
So I guess I won't be mad that I can't get this since we won't be able to port in from Metro.
I guess they probably also don't care about other operators like Boost/Dish?

Be careful with their website. I checked the compatibility of a phone I was bringing in & the site said it was compatible. Ordered a sim card & couldn't get it to work. After a number of calls & chats, it turned out some of the site hasn't been updated when it comes to phones that will work on their site when you search by device type. To make sure, search by the device's IDEMI #. That was accurate. They do have a 7 day return policy.

(Continued from above comment) When I couldn't get Mint to work with a phone I had, I shopped around & the best deal I found was actually at a T-Mobile store. I got a new 5G Samsung phone for around $115 when I signed up for a month to month plan. The phone actually came out free because the money I paid is going to the monthly plan. I had to have the highest plan for the first month (like $55) but then dropped down to $15 a month for unlimited call & text & 2 gig data. Exactly what I needed for my daughter's first phone.

This is only 4 free lines for 3 months? Or do they continue free at renewals?
