The Deco is dual band, while the Linksys is tri band. The Deco doesn't have a USB port for NAS, while the Linksys does. The Deco supports mesh. On paper, the Linksys doesn't support mesh but I've seen people having success using it as mesh (https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=172279275&postcount=80), and I assume future OpenWRT support will provide mesh.

The Deco supports a higher theoretical max speed on the 5ghz band but I doubt you will be able to get that, and it depends on the ability of your receiver. Plus, operating in mesh mode will reduce speeds since each satellite node needs to dedicate time to communication with other nodes. In a tri band setup like with the Linksys this is less of an issue since you can dedicate one 5ghz radio to that node to node communication.

The Linksys also has a large amount of RAM and storage since it was designed for enterprise. I'm doubtful the Deco is so powerful.

One unknown is actual radio performance per router. However given that the original retail price of a single one of the Linksys routers is the same as 3x of the Decos, I'm gonna guess that the Linksys is probably better.

Finally, obviously the Decos don't have any custom firmware development.

So, aside from official mesh support, I think the Linksys is probably the better choice. If OpenWRT or DD-WRT matures for the Linksys, it will be an even better deal.
Example zip codes from various states:
11590 (NY)
22192 (VA)
30260 (GA)
32837 (FL)
60440 (IL)
78759 (TX)
80918 (CO)
85032 (AZ)
Your Xfinity modem/router would be put into bridge mode to disable its router from NAT duty. Then either use your existing router and put these mesh nodes in access point mode. Or, remove the netgear router and connect these mesh nodes in router mode to your bridged modem.

My PayPal account had 20 percent off Instacart so I reordered. Make sure you add the offer in your PayPal before purchase. I don't know if the Chase 10 percent off for Instacart stacks but I added that offer to my Chase account and then used my Chase Freedom card for my purchase through PayPal. Thanks again OP. Cheers

I have an M5 Deco. Can I add that as the 4th node satellite to this deal? How do I do that?

Ignore - Was able to place my order.

The store I placed my order at, is 40 minutes away. Does Instacart service addresses that far off?

wait for it to pop back here for $20

Edit: Switching to a different delivery address fixed the issue

On the final page, the total jumped to $218.91. What am I doing wrong?

You are better off using a moca adapter as a back bone for each floor + mesh

Wish there was a way to price match or something. Pricing shows right for where I am, but it's OOS.

Sorry for the question, but what happens if they get to the store and the instore price is higher than I paid on the order?? Do they contact me and ask if I want the order that is priced higher or do I get the lower priced quoted on the IC order??

Was able to order 2 (1 for me, 1 for family) and just don't want to pay the higher price plus tip for an item I will return due to the higher price.
