So nice to see OLED monitor pricing coming down. I would be all over this but I just got a Samsung Oled smart monitor last week. I hope 2025 models get better and cheaper too!

There's also the Gigabyte CO49DQ for $850 as well if you rather have Gigabyte's OSI... i believe these are all QD-OLED Gen 3 panels so all the same.

does 144 vs 240 refresh rate make a huge difference ? currently running 1080ti so not very up to date

i think most people wont notice a difference. but also your gpu wouldnt be able to run 144 on this monitor anyway. at least not on high settings

they are both 144hz, only Samsung and Philips run at 240hz

Tbh it's not that big of a difference but there is a small subtle difference, especially for esports. I went from a 144hz va 5ms 3440x1440 monitor to a 240hz oled .03ms monitor 3440x1440 monitor. Even upgraded my gpu from a 3080 to a 4080s. Worth it, especially if you're ego wants every win.

thank you. will consider this experience. maybe wait for phillips to price drop since the have 3 year burn in warranty
