No Ultra Evolution series on there yet, was hoping this sale is when they'd start.

Crazy how expensive these have become. I bought the SB16 Ultra during their 2018 Memorial Day sale for only $1400 out the door. Now it costs $2045!

They have blamed increased tariffs/inflation. I remember getting an email from SVS discussing their increase in prices. 😐

$600 worth of inflation, huh.

Hm, wondering if the PB-1000 Pro will go lower this year. BF probably? Thinking I should probably wait, but very tempting.

Why does the title read $300?

I have many SVS subs and the best one vs price are the non pro PB1000 which they stopped making unfortunately. They spend a fortune now on marketing which has made their subs irrelevant to me.

Seeing their prices go up every year, and getting so much marketing has given me reverse FOMO.
I want to plan for dual SB/PB16s less and less. I'm interested in the next over performing value player.

If it does it's not going to be a big amount especially if you're looking at the non blemish ones.

The bigger issue is getting the best deals which are the blemished ones.
Often the blemish is very minor but you get the full Bill of Rights warranty as a new one!

They do go extremely fast(as you see here), BF will not be any different, that's the challenge!

Personally I kept waiting for that "deal", finally getting lucky and saved $50!

If you know you want SVS and you're comfortable with the sale price just get it now is my opinion.

I get people whine about price but their quality hasn't diminished, I would say it's improved.
You get what you pay for with SVS imo.

SVS used to be the value leader in the sub category, but their price increases no longer make them the bargain they used to be (Even with this holiday pricing). At the moment RSL is the leader in that area offering great performance, excellent customer service and top value for the money. The RSL 10" subs are better than most brands 12" subs and the RSL 12" subs rival the 13-15" models from companies like SVS but at a much lower price point.

I'm looking for a small sub to pair with my Klipsch The Sixes. I haven't heard of RSL but that 10E looks like it would fit the bill for me - and it's showing $299 shipped.

Buy used.

A few years ago I picked up an SB-2000 (non-pro) for $300. And a couple of weeks ago I picked up a PB-1000 Pro for $180, both from OfferUp.
