I was looking to purchase a Sonos Sub (Gen 3) that lists at $799. Refurbished is usually $639 (about 20% discount from New). Refurbished is now on sale for $479, so this is a great deal in my opinion. Just bought one. Thanks OP!
Sonos sucks. The app is horrible. Desyncs all the time and needs updates. They legacy their products - which is a big deal since these aren't cheap. You're better off just buying decent speakers and connecting them to an amp with AirPlay. It'll be cheaper in the long run and works way better than Sonos.

app on Android has issues. on iPhone, it's peachy.

Ever since they upgraded their Sonos app a few months ago, everything went to sh**. Have Sonos Ones an arc and sub. Syncing and streaming issues just become almost unusable. Reddit is flooded with angry complaints about the new app breaking the system. Heck even the App Store reviews. CEO even acknowledged the mess he did when they rushed the app to accommodate upcoming products. They used to be great and can still be, but not at the current state of the app. Be warned..
These will be very expensive bricks in 3-4 years when Sonos upgrades to their "next gen" and no long supports any of these speakers with their latest app

Have you been on the sonos subreddit lately, hundreds/thousands of users with issues on both iPhone and Android devices. Appears that some recent updates to the app may have corrected some of the issue for some users. Look at Sonos stock performance, wonder if they will get acquired.
I'm in the minority. I own the Arc and mini sub and the app works fine for me on my iPhone 13. The 1st time setup went smoothly and this setup made me return the Bose 700 soundbar and sub back to Costco.
Bose is just boomy and the Sonus has deeper rich bass and more natural sounding.
I bought mine when Bestbuy had the 20% off open box items earlier this year. And both were store display models according to the sticker on the side of the box.
