I will say that the video taken by this device is miles better than your typical phone video in the following aspects:
1/ Way smoother video
2/ Wayyyy better nighttime/low light video, especially when you record when walking
3/ Much more beautiful natural background blur (not computational blur), making your video look so professional.
I do agree that photowise, this thing does not take better photo than your phone.
People downvoting me have no idea what they are talking about. They are comparing to just the camera, which is $519 (so this is a great deal compared to that). But the Creator combo is $669 with everything here plus a mic. This is everything except the $90 mic. If you NEED the mic, this combo is around 10% off at best lol. Y'all gotta math harder.
I guess the extra battery comes in the form of a Battery Handle.
And no, this is NOT the creator combo which comes with mic.
Sam's club has a similar combo with 128GB sd card but no mini tripod for $498.

How is the video quality compared to your 15 Pro with ProRes HDR enabled?
I think you have the wrong idea. This is a very wide angle lens. Unless you're running on the pitch with the team tracking isn't going to make a difference. It's just going to be a wide angle shot of almost the whole pitch depending on how close you're sitting.
I have the Creator Combo and I use it ALL THE TIME. That said, I'm also a Content Creator for my job. (if you want to see footage shot with the camera: https://youtube.com/@restorerz Insta is our main social). I picked this up because shooting with an iPhone on a Osmo Mobile 6 is nice, but what ISN'T is the airdrop time and need to actually use my phone when on the site and the battery suck. Also use a GH6, BMPCC4K (and about 7 different lenses), 2 GoPros and DJI Mini 4 Pro. This has turned into my EVERYDAY USE camera. PROS: size, portability, ease of use. CAN shoot Log for color grading (when needed). Easy connection via DJI Mimo to record remotely (aka, from inside your car or from the ground when it's mounted). Good battery life. Also easy to connect via Mimo app and download to your phone.
CONS: slightly flimsy when not in protection. Small screen (but MUCH larger that previous versions). Zoom (Dig zoom, can go maybe 1x but after that, don't bother). Sports are fine if you're capturing the 'play' but for any 'close ups', worthless.
This version doesn't come with the Mic 2, which I DO use cause I do go on camera a lot, but if you're just recording family events and stuff, that won't matter.
If anyone has questions, feel free to ask.
ADDED: I barely use the tripod that comes with it, as it is very small and rather flimsy, but that's only because I have many more options to use. It also looks like it doesn't come with the case that it comes with normally, I could be wrong so you might need to get some sort of protector for it. In the end, this is a pretty good deal, but you're only saving a few dollars.

Auto track, no, not effectively due to limited range and small object detection limitations.
However, I film my and my friends' kids 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 games all the time with this camera. It is very smooth thanks to the gimbal so everything is nice and crisp.
That being said, the zoom is limited so, while shots on the near side of the field are amazing, the far side is less than desirable.
Here is a compilation I put together of me filming some youth sports, mostly soccer. Even if the camera doesn't meet your autotracking needs, you still may find it valuable for getting some buttery smooth close up action shots…

this doesn't have the microphone and that's a vital part of it

For me either I go with the route with a camera, or no camera just phone, a gimbal or gimbaled tiny camera seems combines the worse of both, not handy and not great quality. I guess this is a good purchase if you decided to say start your YouTube channel.
