I was a new customer too many times now they blocked me
When my fire tablets get old I always swear I'll never buy another but then ... Slickdeals happens.
I must have ordered over a dozen times as a "new" customer.
Use a temp/single use credit card number (Revolut)
Use the google trick for my email (randomly placed periods or spaces in addy)

That typically seems to do the trick

We had two ipads that the kids use on the plane/long car rides. Just put a few games and download movies from streaming services. We cannot find one of our ipads. Would this do what we need? Have never owned one.

I use these cheap tablets as monitors for my security/surveillance system. They work great for that.

My 5 yo daughter's 1st gen iPad mini was still able to stream Netflix (surprisingly), but is not compatible with our new Eero mesh network (it won't connect - there is no legacy compatibility unity mode like our old Asus). We got it for free years ago, and it sucks that it's going to be recycled soon, but it gave us many good years, so not too sad!

My older son has a 6th gen iPad that's still going strong. Unfortunately, I can't justify $200 for a Costco 2021 model nor $229 for a NEX 2022 model at this time. $55 for a tab that will almost exclusively be used for streaming seems like a no-brainer, thanks!
I am assuming that her tablet won't connect to the new mesh network due to its lack of 5Ghz wifi? If so couldn't you just piggyback an older 2.4Ghz wifi router/AP to the Eero & connect her tablet to that? You can find them dirt cheap at Goodwill or the like. My new ISP 'gave' us an Eero router but it sits there unused due to me preferring my Nighthawk router more.

Amazon over produced these and that's why there hasn't been a 2024 model and now they are trying to get rid the surplus through outlets like QVC. Reason for the surplus is that their sales have declined significantly since most people absolutely hate the Amazon Android interface since it's so cluttered and filled with ADs. I wouldn't be surprised if they get out of the tablet business (like they did with the Fire phone, anyone remember that?)

Fire Phone FTW! I bought two of those, I can't even remember how. One refurb through Amazon, one through Woot maybe. Got like one year of Amazon Prime membership for one of them, and I believe two years with the other. I don't think I spent more than $100 total, includes two crappy Fire phones and three years of Amazon. Was a realization that sometimes the best choice looks strange...

Yes. $30 off is dead like someone said earlier, now only $20 off.

Edit: sold out now.

I haven't looked into it, but are you saying I should be able to connect my old Asus router to one of the Eero nodes and get'er back up and running? I haven't done that before. I only have experience with Asus AI-Mesh (old) and that was pretty unreliable.

The Eero is tri-band, so 2.4 shouldn't be an issue. My old Asus router had a legacy compatibility setting for N devices. The Eero doesn't have nearly as much customization capability; like none really!

It does work 100% of the time and I was lucky enough to get the three Pro 6 offer on Amazon for $85 last September, which made it a no-brainer.
