Yah, tmo home internet sucks - if you have any other wired option (or mmWave even) save yourself the headache - the discount doesn't justify the inconsistent service and bad latency
I have had a T-mobile for 2yrs, and I love them. Zero issues. Speeds are 300-500 most of the time at 350, even during heavy rain/snow. I have zero complaints.

9 Lines = 120 taxes, included Inflight Internet and Netflix
1 Tablet Line unlocked that i use as Hotspot for travel and Home internet for 30 for a total of 150. Everything above included

I will never find anything better than T-mobile.(better deals)

Cool I just signed up. $30/month seems like a steal, I don't game nor any fancy internet usage so this seems to work out for me.Thanks OP.
I am a game, and i have no issue. Latencyy is 24ms

Anything at 100ms or less is considered acceptable for gaming. However, 20-40ms is optimal.

I got it under the $25 deal. It works well enough in my area. About 500mbs down. Up is slow, like 30mbs. It's highly dependent on them not overselling your area. It works well enough for most things but definitely has random latency that doesn't happen with traditional wired home internet. Nothing crazy, but if you go to load a web page it might hang for a second or two sometimes.

I'd imagine this would be an issue for gamers. The only other issue I've seen is some Cisco VPN clients won't connect through it for some reason. It appears to be a known issue if you Google it. It's odd too as I have 2 different Cisco VPNs I use. One works fine with it, the other does not. It seems to be a tmo issue in general as I have the same issue with my hotspot.

I tried this out for 3 months last time they had a rebate. Could literally see the tower out the window I had the router in. Even tried an amplifier antenna. Speed was all over the place and constantly would only connect at 4G. Ping was over 200. Even had them swap out the modem. Terrible offshore customer support. Only upside, I was able to switch back to cable internet as a new customer under promotional pricing. Never thought I'd be relieved to be back with Spectrum.

I got tired of Spectrum bumping price after their set term, and they expect customers to spend an hour+ every year to call their customer service, to keep the price lower.

Yes, TMO does have higher ping when you play fps games (around 60 for me,) but you won't get one of those several-hour-long service disruptions that you get with wired services.

This issue is they oversell the market with not enough backbone to cover the speeds. Then the service gets subpar. It happened to me both with T-Mobile home internet and Verizon. They started out good, then 2-3 months in it become borderline unusable.

T-Mobile sucks!
Frist, they removed credit card autopay discounts. They added 1.2TB cap, then slow down. They made certain modem higher price plan. They took away NetFlix standard plan free now paid service. So many changes non stops.

I had the $15/month lifetime deal for T-Mobile for a while and I had to eventually switch and pay up for Cable Internet. It was just so awful. It was alright in the beginning but they've just added way too many customers on so the network gets overloaded especially during peak hours. I literally couldn't even load my email during peak hours. It was just insane.

I mostly got it for the unlimited data cap and low costs but at some point, I needed consistent usability especially since I work from home.

Does TMHI device have a bridge mode to attach own WIfi-6 equipment via RJ45 like Verizon?

I don't see 30$. Where do you see it
If you have a T-Mobile account and already have a qualifying voice line with them, then login to your account and shop for home internet, it will verify your address, after entering your address, you'll see the $30/month option.

We switched from Spectrum months ago, and have been very happy with T-Mobile. I was working from home, never an issue.

Spectrum was charging 110 a month, it was a no brainer for us. When I called them to cancel and told them we were switching to T-Mobile they offered me a $50 plan, yeah nice to prove you were overcharging us this whole time. And why would I pay $50 when I can pay $30 lol

Can this internet be moved around like a hotspot? Is it possible to use this in my RV while driving around?
Yes, depends on the 5g signal strength

I'd try it again but it is never available in my area. Must be too many users on it already.
